Comprising of a Meat59 patty, peppered salami, Raclette cheese, rocket, basil mayo.
We think its the cheese that really sets this burger apart. Racler means to scrape in French, and Raclette gets this particular name for its original way of eating it. Traditionally, a Raclette is melted over a fire and the soft cheese scraped onto a plate. Savoured on a cold winters evening in front of a fire, in the summer over an open campfire or grill, melted over potatoes or a bread, the Raclette is always a gastronomic experience. It is a semi-firm, Alpine-style, cow’s milk cheese with a nutty flavour and smooth texture.
Our Raclette is supplied to us from our lovely neighbours in Exeter on Magdalen Rd “Bon Gout Delicatessen” run and owned by Nicola and Tristan, these guys travelled the world before settling in Exeter. They’ve been running Bon Gout Deli now for about 16 years (Est 1987). They are passionate about food and this really shows.
The salami is supplied by Hawkridge Farmhouse Dairy Produce based in the heart of the Devonshire countryside. https://hawkridge.uk.com
