Lamb Bamba – Devon Lamb patty, chimichurri sauce, manchego cheese, sweet piquante peppers, gem lettuce, chipotle mayo
April’s Special Burger is here! The Lamb Bamba is made using Devon lamb from Derek Harris, Tordean Farm, Dean Prior, Buckfastleigh supplied to us via our award winning local butcher Gribbles http://www.gribblesbutchers.co.uk
Chimichurri sauce is a classic South American herb sauce containing parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and white or red wine vinegar. It is great with grilled meats perfect for a Meat59 patty!
Manchego maybe a cheese that some have not heard, it is a Spanish cheese made with milk from the Manchega breed of sheep, this cheese has been aged between twelve and eighteen months, it has a caramel and nutty flavour.
The burger itself is fresh and is on the lighter side to the signature beef and pork patty, perfect now the weather brightening up!
Lamb doesn’t appear on our menu too frequently so if it tickles your fancy you better be quick!
